I’m Kiki Choda, the founder of New Media Ghost. I’ve always had a passion for marketing, both offline and online, and I’m fascinated by how digital platforms can create real opportunities for businesses. My background includes achieving Chartered Marketer status for the last 15 years and many years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, from startups to global enterprises.
I thrive on problem-solving and innovation, particularly when it comes to helping businesses connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. In recent years, I’ve become passionate about harnessing AI to drive business growth. I love showing businesses how to use AI effectively, giving them the tools and confidence to unlock its full potential. I also enjoy seeing the transformation of websites I work upon from a core point of view, not just aesthetics. The SEO and content that goes into making sites work for clients is a quiet passion I carry. Outside of work, I’m an avid learner, always on the lookout for new ideas or insights, and you’ll often find me immersed in a good book that inspires personal or professional growth. Travelling as much as I can is very important to my overall wellbeing, which I tend to try my best to get in as much as I can - even if it is closer to home and not that far away all the time.
New Media Ghost is a digital marketing company dedicated to helping businesses grow through smarter online strategies.
We offer services like website development, content creation, SEO strategies, and marketing consultations, particularly with the use of AI. Our focus is on creating websites and content that resonate with audiences, improve user experience, and, where my real passion lies is to ‘drive results’.
I wanted to create a company that not only provided effective digital solutions but also supported businesses in building real connections with their audiences. Seeing a gap where many businesses struggled to navigate online platforms, I felt driven to offer expertise that could simplify these challenges and deliver measurable success, often providing an ‘AHA’ moment.
I was approached by someone who worked as a supplier for my old firm. He asked if I could assist his client with their personal branding. Personal branding didn’t quite have a name back then. I started to work with executives in the US and with many years of marketing experience it seamlessly integrated with the marketing strategy and knowledge I already had. Executives stated to ask whether I could help their marketing department grow their business and so New Media Ghost was born.
Fortunately for me, I didn’t need to launch the business. New Media Ghost snowballed from referrals across the states and then I started to attend networking events, which just grew my own presence and utilised LinkedIn a lot. Of course back then, people were too frightened to go online and build their profiles as a personal brand marketer I was inundated to helping executives and their teams get online.
One of the biggest challenges was working keeping in pace of the changes in technology and digital marketing. Everything was growing exponentially as people made more use of their online profiles and networking online. Staying adaptable and continuously learning has been key. My commitment to professional development, such as earning my CIM certification each year, has helped me stay ahead of the curve and provide value to my clients.
New Media Ghost has grown from focusing on small-scale projects to working with clients across industries, including startups, healthcare, engineering, and tech. We’ve expanded our services to include cutting-edge tools like AI to enhance marketing strategies and make them more effective.
A combination of strategies has been effective, building strong client relationships, creating valuable content, and leveraging SEO for visibility.
Being with like minded people who help develop me has helped, namely Robin as a coach and my mentor who is based in Switzerland and is great at the overall strategic view of my business.
What sets us apart is my personalised approach. You will see I go from being me to including ‘we’ because the team I have around me, although now other freelancers are still part of the help I turn to. I treat every client’s business better than I treat my own business. I have always focused on creating strategies that are practical, impactful, and particular to my clients goals - always delivering over and above of their needs.
Be flexible as you grow. It’s not important to know everything but it is important to know where you want to go, and don’t be afraid to adapt when things don’t go as planned. Trust your instincts, surround yourself with people who support your goals, and don’t hesitate to seek help when you need it.
Most importantly, set boundaries and take care of yourself burnout will only hold you back. I got super enthusiastic when I first started New Media Ghost and today I have that same enthusiasm for my clients when helping to grow their businesses. So it’s important you enjoy what you do - otherwise you may as well go and work for someone else and just get a wage in each month.

My goal is to continue growing New Media Ghost into a go-to partner for businesses seeking innovative and effective digital marketing strategies. I aim to expand our use of AI to offer even smarter, more personalised solutions while maintaining our focus on creating authentic connections for our clients.
Building a stronger global presence and fostering long-term partnerships with different people across industries are also key priorities.
This industry, marketing coupled with technology is a moveable feast. I plan to keep up with emerging technologies, adapt to shifts in audience behaviour, and refine our services to meet the changing needs of businesses. As a chartered Marketer it is important that I am continuously learning. By remaining flexible and open to innovation, (we) can continue to deliver value no matter how the industry evolves.
